About CareerExamStudy

CareerExamStudy publishes plain-English guides to the exams that open the door to a career: police entrance tests, fire investigator certifications, real estate licensing exams and more. Each guide answers one question people actually ask, and answers it in the first paragraph.

How guides are written

• Answer first. The opening paragraph gives you the answer. The rest of the page adds the detail.
• Official sources for exam facts. Exam formats, eligibility rules, fees and passing scores come from the agency or test provider that sets them, and every guide links to those sources.
• Dated and maintained. Each guide shows when it was last updated. Exam rules change, so always confirm details with the official source before you register.

Recommendations

Some guides recommend an app or other study tool when it fits the topic. Descriptions of an app come from its official App Store listing. Some of the apps recommended here are made by the people who publish this site.

Not an official source

CareerExamStudy is not affiliated with any licensing agency, government body or test provider. Exam names and trademarks belong to their owners.
